IoT Sensing Automation
rMON – IoT Sesning Automation System
rMON is an IoT environment sensing automation system for industrial and outdoor environments supporting IoT devices and sensor deployments. It features a distributed architecture and comprises a cloud-based management system for remote gateway and sensors control, an IoT gateway family with various communication modules (WiFi, 2G/3G/4G/NB-IoT, Eth), a range of sensors, measurement collectors, and advanced analytics with visualizations, system notification and alerting.
Typical use cases
This is a range of powerful remote monitoring services to support first responders in managing disaster conditions, e.g., flooding, wildfires, avalanche. It is based on a ruggedized design for outdoor sensing with multiple sensor options for automated disaster control and monitoring. It delivers a complete modular and customizable solution to deploy, run and even update remote monitoring of one or several distributed sites. The solution is based on autonomous modular IoT gateways (WiFi, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, NB-IoT, Ethernet) and system operation with zero data loss, and on centralized cloud management with GIS support. The monitoring services include real-time analytics and KPI visualizations, system notifications and alerting, as well as Over-The-Air control of the IoT gateways and sensors.
