Challenge
The fitness and wellness market is more than just “a fashion” today . People have realised the importance of physical activity and sport when conducting an ever more sedentary lifestyle. The fitness industry in Europe is the second largest in the world, right behind North America. The number of fitness centers as well as the number of fitness center members in Europe has reached approximately 65 million members in 63 thousand centers. To meet new lifestyles and workstyles, the sector has to offer more flexible and modular subscription methods, allowing members to workout inside and outside fitness centers. Today, there are many regular players offering on-demand classes and live streams for consumers or fitness centers. However, there is no advanced solution enabling to monitor member’s workout performances at home while enabling a fitness center coach to evaluate their progress and stay in touch.
